(In a doctor’s lounge at a London hospital, as neurosurgeon Dr. David Mortimore is preparing his lecture that should guarantee him a knighthood, a former nurse bursts in with the news that their fling nearly 19 years ago made Mortimore a father. The emotionally high-strung boy is downstairs, desperate to meet his long-lost Dad. Lies pile on lies as Mortimore enlists his colleagues to deceive his wife, his boss, a police sergeant and even his newfound son. Crashing wheelchairs, doctors in nurse drag, and window-ledge wrestling gear this hysterical Ray Cooney farce into overdrive.)
